After completing his English Literature Studies at Leyden University in 1984, Edwin van den Dungen founded Interphase Translations, a localization agency specializing in the translation of technical user documentation. In 1987, the company, which by then also provided technical writing services, was renamed Scriptware. Since that time, the company has developed into a midsize, successfully-operating organization that supplies its services to customers around the world.
After leaving Scriptware in 2003, Edwin founded Affixion, where he is now responsible for sales and marketing.
After finishing his studies in Information & Telecommunication Science in 1997, Martijn Bodeman joined Edwin’s team to provide Scriptware with network administration and to develop custom tools and applications to improve Scriptware’s and its customers’ workflows. From 1999, his role at Scriptware transitioned to Software/Localization Engineer, and he created custom applications for large translation and documentation projects. In 2000, he left Scriptware to found SiteKiX, an internet development company, where he was responsible for the technical side of semi-large internet projects.
Within Affixion, Martijn is responsible for web and application development.
